Research & Psychology: Welcome

Psychology allows for the understanding of human behaviour and is important in all aspects of business, as well as specifically in technology and design.

Knowing how to research and analyse psychological data, as well an understanding psychological theories, is a skill I possess that is necessary across domains and sectors.

Research & Psychology: Bio

The BSc in Applied Psychology in IADT is accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland as it meets particular standards and has certain core characteristics. Throughout my studies at IADT, I will have acquired knowledge across various psychological disciplines including Cyberpsychology, Cognitive Psychology, Neuropsychology, Developmental & Lifespan Psychology, Personality & Individual Differences and Research Methods and Statistics.

All of these modules focus on the everyday application of psychology and the projects completed for these modules are heavily based on how human behaviour applies to the real world. These modules have allowed me to learn a range of desirable skills including critical thinking, problem solving and teamwork skills.
