The Neuro Pursuit
Neuropsychology educational board-game
In our Neuropsychology module, we were given a group assignment asking us to create a board game or card game to test and educate players on the brain and neuropsychology.

This assignment, as it was a group project, allowed for collaboration and teamwork when creating the game. This allowed for all our respective strengths to be used together to create the best possible game. Following the outlining of the questions for the game, creativity was needed to plan, design and create a board game that could be playable in our class presentation.
The Process
As a group, we decided that we needed to create a game that put the questions that we had compiled together to best use. We created a neuropsychology take on the classic "Trivial Pursuit" and designed "The Neuro Pursuit". For the board game, we constructed a board, questions cards and box, scoring tokens, scoring pieces and a set of instructions for players. The colour scheme for the game was bright colours and made the playing experience fun.
Learnings
I brought logic, creativity and organisation to the group as I had an idea of how the process of the design should be done and, as an organised person, ensured we stayed in communication about the project and created group deadlines to keep us all on track. Assignments like this allow for creativity to be used in an educational way and by having to create questions, I learned more information.
From this assignment, I took away that learning can be done in many ways and that the fun and effort put in by group members in an assignment such as this goes a long way.
